About the role

Sandvik Coromant is looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join the 3rd shift team in Westminster, SC. You will operate and program CNC grinding equipment to produce high‑quality cutting tools while upholding safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate CNC grinding, centerless, cylindrical, and tool grinders.
• Run cut‑off machines and precision measuring equipment.
• Enter quality, SPC, and production data into company systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and assist with major equipment repairs.
• Achieve productivity, machine utilization, and cycle‑time targets.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
• Attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Ability to understand workflow impact and production priorities.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
