About the role
Learfield is hiring a Project Manager on its Implementation team for SIDEARM, the digital platform powering collegiate athletics. The role manages the day-to-day execution of client implementation projects, keeps timelines and deliverables on track, coordinates cross-team work and ensures a smooth client experience from contract signing through launch and onboarding. It reports to the Director, Implementation.
Key responsibilities

- Manage scope, timeline, dependencies and deliverables using Jira, Confluence and Slack, and run kickoffs, working sessions and status reviews.
- Act as the day-to-day point of contact for client stakeholders and build strong relationships with Design, Engineering, Product, Partner Development and Client Support.
- Support the handoff from implementation to ongoing support and account management.
- Help migrate clients to SIDEARM's next-generation CMS, coordinating technical, content and communication work, and coordinate third-party vendors such as Noda, Level Access and Game Center.
- Document project status, decisions and outcomes in Confluence and Jira, and share lessons learned as the migration program scales.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, surface blockers early, and stay current on project management tools and AI-powered workflows.
Required profile
- 3+ years of experience in project management, project coordination, client implementation or client-facing operations, ideally in a SaaS, digital platform, website development or professional services setting.
- Track record of delivering client-facing projects on time with strong client experiences.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Interest in digital products, client experience or collegiate athletics; must live in or relocate to the Dallas, TX metro area and work onsite at Learfield HQ at least four days a week, Monday through Thursday.
- Experience with CMS, digital platform delivery or website/mobile app implementations is a plus.
Required skills
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Asana or similar tools.
- Preferred: experience with large-scale platform migrations or CMS transitions, PMP or CSM certification, and experience with Claude or other AI platforms.
What we offer
- Medical, dental, vision, HSA, life insurance and other insurance plans.
- Paid time off of at least 10 days a year, parental leave, 20 paid holidays, 401(k) match and short/long term disability.
