Project Manager – Heavy Civil, Utility & Commercial Construction

About the role

3 Forks Services is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead heavy civil, utility, and commercial civil construction projects in the Williston, ND area. You will own projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, and to company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage heavy civil, underground utility, site development, and commercial civil projects from inception to closeout.
• Coordinate crews, subcontractors, vendors, equipment, materials, and schedules.
• Review plans, specifications, scopes of work and track progress, costs, change orders and deadlines.
• Communicate regularly with owners, customers, inspectors, engineers, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Conduct site visits, identify potential issues early and resolve problems affecting schedule, budget, safety or quality.
• Maintain accurate documentation including daily updates, photos, RFIs, change orders and reports.

Required profile

• Previous project management experience in heavy civil, utility or commercial civil construction.
• Strong understanding of civil construction operations, sequencing and field coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications and project documents.
• Excellent communication, organization and leadership skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work independently in the Williston area.

Required skills

• Proficiency with construction software and scheduling tools such as Bluebeam, Procore, HCSS, Microsoft Project and Excel.
• Basic computer skills for document management and reporting.
