Project Manager – Healthcare Construction (NYC)

About the role

ARCO is seeking a motivated Project Manager to lead healthcare construction projects in New York City. You will own project performance from concept through completion, ensuring client satisfaction and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all phases of construction projects, including estimating, scheduling, quality control, and progress billing.
• Collaborate with owners and design teams early to develop accurate estimates and concept drawings.
• Lead proposal meetings, provide value‑engineering ideas, and negotiate scope and cost.
• Oversee subcontractor buyout, conduct bi‑weekly site meetings, and coordinate safety and quality with the Superintendent.
• Maintain cost awareness, prepare progress reports, and communicate effectively with owners and the construction team.

Required profile

• B.S. in Engineering or related field with a minimum 3.2 GPA.
• 3–5 years of experience managing healthcare construction projects.
• Proven ability to make sound decisions under tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills to plan and manage multiple activities.
• Commitment to integrity, quality, and exceeding customer expectations.
