Project Manager – Generator Complex Projects

About the role

The Project Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of complex generator upgrade projects, from engineering design through manufacturing, delivery, and on‑site installation. You will act as the central point of contact for customers and internal teams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cradle‑to‑grave project management for generator major projects and related complex initiatives.
• Coordinate with external customers and internal stakeholders such as marketing, engineering, factories, finance, and service offices.
• Provide regular project updates, conduct design reviews, manage factory testing, and oversee contract deliverables.
• Control project financials, handle change orders, and resolve emergent contract issues.
• Develop and execute quality and risk management plans.
• Implement Zero‑Harm safety directives across the project.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (higher degree preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in customer relationship management, project management, or field service on large, high‑value projects.
• PMI or IPMA certification is a plus; must obtain IPMA certification within three years of hire.
• Ability to obtain unescorted access to nuclear power plants.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% internationally.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
