Project Leader - Decision Analytics Test & Learn

About the role

The Decision Analytics Test & Learn team evaluates pilot performance and delivers data-driven insights that help advance and scale the company's strategic objectives. This Project Leader role, which succeeds the Senior Analyst position, covers developing analytics, turning business questions into actionable solutions, supporting ongoing analytical needs, designing new tools, collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing end-to-end project portfolios. It supports initiatives across Pro, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain and Loyalty.

Key responsibilities

• Provide project planning and timeline management, with overall responsibility for ensuring the end result of development activity meets the business need.
• Coordinate staff and senior analysts on business process evaluation, procedure development, system process flows and requirements, QA planning and testing, implementation planning, documentation, user training and production support.
• Ensure adequate communication and integration across departments, systems and platforms.
• Select, develop and motivate assigned staff; the role may manage up to thirteen salaried employees, including up to seven supervisors, and typically reports to a Systems Manager or Finance Manager.

Required profile

• Age 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a field related to the job; MBA or master's in Analytics, Finance or Information Systems preferred.
• 2 years of experience preferred; project management experience and a track record of delivering large, complex projects helpful.
• Experience in corporate finance, retail or analytics preferred.

Required skills

• SQL, Tableau and similar tools preferred, plus strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of standard systems environments and prior experience with QA, training, documentation or as a business systems liaison helpful.
