Project Coordinator Intern

About the role

Critical Systems, LLC is looking for a motivated Project Coordinator Intern to support our project management and engineering teams. This position offers hands‑on experience with HVAC engineering projects, giving you exposure to schedules, documentation, and client communication.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers and Coordinators with daily coordination and administrative tasks.
• Maintain and organize project documentation such as specifications, submittals, change orders, and correspondence.
• Support project schedules, track deadlines, and monitor outstanding items.
• Facilitate information flow between project managers, sales engineers, and clients.
• Prepare logs, schedules, and other project records.
• Track equipment, materials, and submittals.
• Participate in project meetings, capture action items, and follow up on tasks.
• Use Excel and Monday to keep project data accurate.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong organizational, time‑management, and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.
• Eagerness to learn in a fast‑paced project environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience using project management tools, specifically Monday.
