Project Architect

About the role

As a Project Architect at DELV Design, you will lead the day‑to‑day architectural delivery for a diverse mix of projects, guiding them from concept through permitting, construction administration, and closeout.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate architectural drawings, details, and specifications across all project phases.
• Lead code analysis, accessibility review, permitting coordination, and integration of engineering consultant work.
• Coordinate team tasks and milestones, communicate with clients, and work with the project manager to maintain scope, schedule, and budget.
• Participate in construction administration, including submittals, RFIs, site observations, and project closeout.

Required profile

• 4–9 years of professional architectural experience with a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in architecture.
• Architectural license in Indiana or the state of residence.
• Experience with adaptive reuse, renovation, or historic preservation projects is strongly preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Revit.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
• SketchUp proficiency (preferred).
