Project Architect

About the role

DELV is seeking a self‑motivated Project Architect to lead day‑to‑day architectural delivery on a variety of projects, from due‑diligence and design through permitting, construction administration, and closeout. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate client goals into coordinated, buildable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate architectural drawings, details, and specifications across all project phases.
• Lead code analysis, accessibility review, permitting coordination, and integration of engineering consultant work.
• Manage team tasks and milestones, communicate with clients, and work with the project manager to maintain scope, schedule, and budget.
• Participate in construction administration, including submittals, RFIs, site observations, and project closeout.

Required profile

• 4–9 years of professional architectural experience with a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in architecture.
• Architectural license in Indiana or the candidate’s state of residence.
• Experience with adaptive reuse, renovation, or historic preservation projects is strongly preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.
• SketchUp proficiency preferred.
• Ability to plan and detail varied construction types and carry design intent from concept through technical documentation.
