Program Coordinator – LLM Adjunct Services

About the role

The Office of Academic Affairs at Georgetown Law Center seeks a Program Coordinator to support its large LLM adjunct faculty community. This position provides front‑line service to over 600 adjunct instructors, ensuring smooth onboarding, teaching, and administrative processes.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate rehiring and onboarding for more than 300 LLM adjuncts, including preparation and issuance of appointment letters.
• Provide in‑person assistance to adjunct faculty for teaching preparation, grading, and classroom logistics.
• Serve as the primary contact for adjunct inquiries related to administrative matters.
• Supply adjunct faculty data to internal and external stakeholders as needed.
• Manage communications, office reservations, and updates to the adjunct virtual office page.
• Assist with course scheduling, front‑desk support, and implementation of standardized office procedures.
• Perform additional duties to support the mission of Academic Affairs.

Required profile

• Experience in academic or administrative support roles, preferably within a law school or higher‑education setting.
• Strong organizational abilities to handle large volumes of faculty data and appointments.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for direct interaction with adjunct faculty and university departments.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple offices such as Employment Services, Parking, GOCard, UIS, and the Library.
