Program Coordinator, Hospital Medicine

About the role

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is hiring a Program Coordinator for Hospital Medicine. The position works under minimal supervision, directing the operation of a program or project with independent judgment and authority. It supports APP scheduling, credentialing and onboarding logistics, the launch of a fellowship program, evaluation cycles, data and analytics, and the anticipated APP Medical Director and the developing APP Credentialed Fellowship.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, coordinate and evaluate program operations and procedures
• Develop or oversee the development of the program budget
• Maintain working relationships with internal and external departments, agencies and organizations
• Set program goals and objectives, direct evaluation and quality control, and approve schedules, priorities and standards
• Plan and coordinate special events, participate in conferences and present data and program information
• Design, execute and maintain internal controls, ensure compliance with laws and regulations, and stay up to date on relevant scientific and technical developments
• Provide supervision to staff and perform other duties as assigned

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Education/Social Science or a related field
• 5 years of experience in an appropriate field; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of the degree
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and exercise independent judgment
