Professional Learning Specialist

About the role

The Professional Learning Specialist supports the Expanding Learning Possibilities (ELP) curriculum and digital modules through live, virtual, and hybrid training sessions. The role ensures high‑quality professional development, strong partner relationships, and effective program logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Design and facilitate PD sessions from ELP modules and Afterschool curriculum, adapting delivery to audience and format.
• Coach teachers, staff, and Hub contacts, providing follow‑up support and troubleshooting implementation challenges.
• Maintain alignment with current module versions, flag inconsistencies, and submit materials for review.
• Build and maintain tracking systems for session planning, attendance, and participant progress.
• Develop relationships with teachers, school leaders, and district staff, and represent CAMP professionally.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• At least three years of classroom teaching or educational coaching experience.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Comfort using digital learning platforms and virtual meeting tools.
• Experience coaching or mentoring teachers on instructional strategies.
