About the role
Enerstaff is recruiting a Production Operator for a steel manufacturing shop in Houston, Texas (zip 77073). The position is listed as temp-to-hire and is based on site. The workplace is a non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility.
Key responsibilities
- Set up, monitor and maintain machines and equipment used on production lines.
- Feed raw materials into machines and operate them.
- Make minor repairs and replace parts.
- Test finished materials for compliance.
Required profile
- Some production experience required.
- Experience with pipe yard, heat treat, assembly, coating, QC and general labor is a plus.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Steel toes required.
Working conditions
- Pay of $17-$19 per hour.
- Schedules: day shift 4am-4pm or night shift 4pm-4am, 5-6 days per week; hours can vary with production demands.
- Non-climate-controlled environment.
