About the role
Enerstaff is recruiting a Production Operator (Temp-to-Hire) for a steel manufacturing shop in Houston, Texas. The workplace is on site in a non-climate-controlled facility, and hours can vary with production demands.
Key responsibilities
- Set up, monitor and maintain machines and equipment used on production lines
- Feed raw materials into machines and operate them
- Make minor repairs and replace parts
- Test finished materials for compliance
Required profile
- Some production experience required
- Must pass a background check and drug screen
- Steel toes required
- Experience with pipe yard, heat treat, assembly, coating, QC and general labor is a plus
What we offer
- Pay of $17-$19 per hour
- Day shift 4am-4pm or night shift 4pm-4am, 5-6 days per week
- Temp-to-hire opportunity
