Production Operations Coordinator

About the role

The Production Operations Coordinator will oversee end‑to‑end production activities for multiple national retail accounts, ensuring smooth execution from product development through final delivery. This onsite, full‑time position works closely with sourcing, logistics, compliance and sales teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production operations across sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, quality assurance and retailer compliance.
• Manage purchase orders, work‑in‑progress reports, shipment tracking, production timelines and delivery schedules.
• Communicate with overseas factories, vendors and logistics partners to resolve issues and keep schedules on track.
• Monitor replenishment programs, shipment planning and inventory flow to meet retailer demand.
• Maintain detailed Excel trackers, production calendars, payment schedules and operational reports.
• Arrange product testing, inspections, bookings and compliance activities with third‑party partners.
• Support cross‑functional teams including import, compliance, sales, sourcing, accounting and product development.
• Troubleshoot production delays, shipping problems, vendor performance and customer service issues.
• Identify and implement efficiency improvements such as shipment consolidation and container optimization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Merchandising, Business or a related field (preferred).
• 2–6+ years of experience in production coordination, product operations, merchandising, supply chain or related roles within consumer products, wholesale or retail.
• Experience with retail production workflows, retailer compliance requirements and overseas manufacturing is a plus.
