Production Officer (Intelligence and Cyber Group)

About the role

Amentum is hiring a Production Officer for its Intelligence and Cyber Group in McLean, VA. The role professionally edits analytical products supporting US national security and foreign policy objectives on counterterrorism (CT) issues. It is a team-based position requiring a TS/SCI with polygraph clearance and the ability to support a non-traditional schedule, potentially Monday to Thursday 10:00am to 8:00pm, with possible shift coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Review and edit analytical products to align with style guide standards
• Edit graphics, including interactive media, help develop visual aids and ensure proper formatting
• Verify proper sourcing of products and graphics
• Finalize publications, provide archiving support and track the production workflow
• Work within production schedules and coordinate with all parties involved
• Produce, deliver and archive finished intelligence publications

Required profile

• TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance
• Bachelor's degree
• Three years of experience
• Previous experience editing finished intelligence products for an IC customer
• Exposure to US foreign policy, national security CT objectives and interagency coordination
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities

Required skills

• Professional writing, editing and sourcing skills
• Knowledge of national security classification procedures
• Strong editorial and grammatical skills
• Knowledge of publishing principles, publication design and production methods for hardcopy or electronic formats
• Experience with Adobe InDesign is desired
