Mid Technical Editor (O&M)

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Mid Technical Editor (O&M) to support an Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI), Intelligence Cycle Management Directorate (N2) contract in Suitland, MD. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 0730-1630.

Key responsibilities

• Review intelligence products for proper grammar, punctuation and syntax, as well as for logic, clarity and consistency.
• Ensure style and format conform to agency publication standards and that language matches prescribed style guides and the specialized vocabulary of each subject matter field.
• Amend draft tables, tone boxes and graphics so they support and match the accompanying text.
• Ensure proper classification markings in line with IC guidance.
• Work with authors to revise products for narrative organization and negotiate further revisions as needed.

Required profile

• Current U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI).
• Ability to obtain a polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in social sciences, criminal justice, national security or a related field.
• Eight or more years of demonstrated experience.
