Production Lead

About the role

The Production Lead supports daily store operations and drives production performance to meet or exceed budget targets while upholding Goodwill's standards, policies, and procedures. This role acts as a supervisor when assigned and ensures a safe, clean, and efficient back‑room environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager or Production Manager in achieving monthly and annual production goals (minimum 110 garments per hour with 90% quality).
• Supervise and mentor Production Associates, ensuring compliance with safety and personnel policies.
• Process donated goods, prepare them for the sales floor, and maintain a clean, hazard‑free store environment.
• Maintain back‑room safety, perform routine cleaning, and handle physical tasks such as sorting, hanging, and zipping garments.
• Represent Goodwill positively to the public, explaining the mission and promoting the brand.

Required profile

• High School diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of supervisory experience or 90 days in the service industry.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and occasional long hours.
• Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods, lift, bend, and perform repetitive hand movements.
