Process Technician IV

About the role

As a Process Technician you will prepare wafers for experimentation, operate reactors for thin‑film processes, and use scanning electron microscopes for analysis and imaging. You will record process conditions, perform routine maintenance, and evaluate wafers and thin films to drive productivity and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare wafers, clean them, load into reactors and operate etch processes on a Tue‑Sat swing shift (3‑11 pm).
• Prepare cross‑section samples for SEM and TEM, including cutting, mounting, cleaning, coating and submission.
• Record process conditions, experimental observations and evaluate wafers and coupons, modifying process recipes as needed.
• Generate graphs and tables summarizing results and coordinate with process engineers on wafer evaluations.
• Develop and publish best‑known‑method (BKM) procedures for sample preparation and handling.

Required profile

• Advanced specialized expertise in analytical/scientific areas to perform complex work.
• Understanding of how related teams coordinate efforts to achieve objectives.
• Ability to act as a lead, allocate work and provide guidance to junior technicians.
• Strong judgment to identify and solve problems with little precedent.
• Effective communication and diplomatic interpersonal skills.
