Production Control Planner – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

Join Applied Materials as a Production Control Planner to ensure material availability and support manufacturing execution. You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and supply chain teams to drive effective SAP MRP planning.

Key responsibilities

• Manage SAP MRP production and work order schedules to meet manufacturing and engineering needs.
• Execute and monitor MRP planning activities, performing material readiness reviews and shortage analysis.
• Coordinate ECO/ECR implementation, material disposition, and support cycle‑count and inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Analyze inventory, work order, and material variances and drive corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in production control, materials planning, inventory management, or manufacturing operations.
• Working knowledge of MRP planning processes and strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
