Product Specialist PDM, Associate

About the role

Santander is seeking a Product Specialist PDM, Associate to lead the origination, structuring, distribution, and trading of syndicated bank loans and related credit products for major corporations and institutions. The role works closely with product, coverage, risk, and legal teams to execute transactions and expand investor relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Originate, structure, and distribute syndicated loans and credit solutions.
• Develop financial models and underwriting criteria for new business.
• Prepare syndication materials, investor presentations, and transaction marketing documents.
• Drive due diligence and execution across internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain relationships with banks, institutional investors, private credit funds, and insurance brokers.
• Advise on syndication strategy, pricing, and market execution.
• Research industry trends, market appetite, and emerging asset classes.
• Represent Santander in client meetings, conferences, and investor presentations.
• Oversee junior staff from financial, operational, and competitive perspectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of business development, product specialist, or related experience.
• Proven track record of executing syndicated loan transactions.
• Strong initiative, self‑motivation, and ability to achieve sales goals.
• Excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills.
