Product Manager – Workday

About the role

The Product Manager will own the enterprise‑wide Workday platform, overseeing Finance, HCM, Payroll, and Procurement modules. This hybrid position requires close collaboration with business, functional, and technical teams to translate strategy into a unified roadmap and ensure continuous operation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and prioritize a multi‑year Workday product strategy and backlog across all modules.
• Lead cross‑functional governance forums, coordinate bi‑annual Workday releases, and manage change‑control processes.
• Own system architecture, integration patterns, security model, and data‑governance standards.
• Partner with the Workday account team and third‑party partners, tracking ROI and value‑realization metrics.
• Provide functional leadership to module leads, set performance goals, and mentor team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, HR, Finance or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years supporting or leading Workday implementations, with at least 3 years across multiple modules.
• Proven experience owning a product roadmap or platform in an enterprise systems context.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Required skills

• Workday platform expertise (Finance, HCM, Payroll, Procurement).
• Workday data model, security architecture, and integration methods (EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, Workday Orchestrate, APIs).
• Workday certifications (Financial Management, HCM, Payroll, Procurement, Integrations, Reporting).
• Experience with Workday Extend, Workday Orchestrate, Adaptive Planning.
• Familiarity with adjacent systems such as tax engines, benefits carriers, and procurement networks.
