Product Manager - Services

About the role

The Home Depot Store Support Center is hiring a Product Manager (Services). The role delivers business value by producing quality data products that drive sales, improve efficiency and raise customer satisfaction. The manager works with developers, data engineers and business partners, supports in-depth business reviews, presents to all levels of the organization and supports cross-functional product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Strategy and planning (40%): turn customer and associate needs into product strategy, set goals and metrics, run end-user research to define user stories and MVP, partner with Finance on business plans, and monitor the competitive landscape and industry innovations
• Delivery and execution (30%): align the product with priorities, document and review quality and change control standards, create and prioritize user stories, take part in standups, iteration planning, demos and retrospectives, and explain technical concepts simply to stakeholders
• People (30%): foster collaboration with engineering and UX designers, advocate for modern software development practices, manage stakeholder expectations and communicate the long-term product strategy

Required profile

• Age 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States
• High school diploma or GED
• Preferred: 1-3 years of relevant experience, including owning data or analytics products from intake through adoption and measuring value
• Preferred: experience with prioritization frameworks, data-driven roadmap planning, AI and machine learning products, and agile methods such as XP (paired programming, test-driven development, continuous deployment)
• Preferred: experience with user research, competitive analysis and fast-paced environments
