Product Manager - Customer Order Management

About the role

The Home Depot is hiring a Product Manager for its Customer Order Management product line. The role delivers business value to drive sales, improve efficiency and raise customer satisfaction by defining product strategy, working with developers, designers and business partners, and supporting cross-functional product teams. It is located in the Store Support Center and typically involves less than 10% overnight travel.

Key responsibilities

• Understand customer and associate needs and turn them into product strategy, communicating priorities to developers, matrixed teams and partners
• Define goals, metrics and analytics, and refine the product backlog based on learnings
• Run end-user research to identify user stories and define the Minimum Viable Product
• Partner with Finance on business plans for new opportunities and monitor the competitive landscape
• Document, review and ensure quality and change control standards are met
• Create, prioritize and accept user stories, and take part in standups, iteration planning, demos and retrospectives
• Manage expectations of the cross-functional team and stakeholders, and explain the product's long-term strategy

Required profile

• Age 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States
• High school diploma or GED
• Preferred: 1-3 years of relevant experience, including as a Product Manager in a modern software development environment
• Preferred: experience with Agile, XP, user research, competitive analysis and user story management
