Product Engineer – Frontend Leaning

About the role

Alma is building an AI‑native legal platform that simplifies immigration law for companies and individuals. As a Product Engineer with a frontend leaning, you will own features from database schema to the React component the user interacts with, working directly with the founding team and early customers to ship a world‑class AI‑powered product.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain end‑to‑end features, including API, database schema, and UI.
• Collaborate closely with the internal legal team to observe workflows and translate pain points into fast, high‑impact features.
• Ship AI‑enhanced functionality that scales the platform by 100x.
• Iterate quickly using modern AI tooling such as Claude Code and Cursor.

Required profile

• Strong “can‑do” attitude and deep customer obsession for both external users and internal legal staff.
• Backend engineering expertise with a willingness to build the frontend UI that consumes your APIs.
• Comfortable working in an AI‑native environment and leveraging AI tools to accelerate development.
