About the role
Alma is an AI‑native law firm transforming immigration law with fast, transparent, high‑touch services. We are looking for a Senior Product Engineer who will own features end‑to‑end, from database schema to the React UI, and help scale our AI‑powered platform.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain backend APIs and database schemas.
- Build the corresponding React components that users interact with.
- Collaborate directly with the founding team and early customers to ship high‑quality features quickly.
- Work closely with internal legal teams to observe workflows and continuously improve the product.
- Leverage modern AI tooling (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) to accelerate development.
Required profile
- Strong “can‑do” attitude with deep customer obsession.
- Experience delivering full‑stack features, not just isolated backend work.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑moving startup environment.
Required skills
- Backend development (API design, database schema design).
- React for frontend implementation.
- Proficiency with AI‑assisted coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor.
