Product Counsel – Legal Advisor for AI Products

About the role

Applied Intuition is seeking a Product Counsel Lead to join its legal team. The role provides strategic legal guidance to product, engineering, design and business groups working on autonomy and AI solutions. You will operate at the intersection of law and emerging technology, helping shape compliant, innovative products.

Key responsibilities

• Advise product, engineering, design and marketing teams on privacy, data protection, accessibility, consumer protection and AI‑related legal issues.
• Lead cross‑functional projects covering compliance, safety and intellectual‑property protection, integrating legal requirements into product development workflows.
• Review product integrations, licensing agreements and technology contracts for risk and compliance.
• Draft and negotiate contracts, policies and standard terms for AI and autonomy products.
• Stay current on evolving regulations and industry standards affecting autonomous systems and AI.

Required profile

• Licensed attorney with experience in technology, privacy, IP or product law.
• Strong business acumen and ability to work independently in a fast‑moving startup environment.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort presenting legal concepts to non‑legal stakeholders.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and able to thrive amid ambiguity.
