Employment Counsel – 6‑Month Contract

About the role

Applied Intuition is seeking a pragmatic Employment Counsel to join its legal team on a six‑month contract. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will act as a primary legal advisor on global labor and employment matters, helping shape policies that support rapid international growth.

Key responsibilities

• Provide real‑time legal counsel to People and business leaders across the employee lifecycle, including headcount planning, performance management, and complex separations.
• Draft, maintain, and update employee handbooks, employment contracts, offer letters, leave policies, and other internal documents to ensure multi‑jurisdictional compliance.
• Lead or advise on internal investigations of sensitive matters, ensuring discretion and procedural fairness.
• Monitor evolving global labor laws, translating legal developments into scalable business workflows.
• Manage outside counsel for employment disputes and administrative proceedings, balancing cost and quality.
• Develop and deliver training sessions for managers on anti‑harassment, interview best practices, and wage‑and‑hour compliance.

Required profile

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
