Senior Trademark Paralegal

About the role

Alt Legal Assist, the managed services arm of Alt Legal, is seeking a Senior Trademark Paralegal to provide substantive trademark clearance, prosecution support, and light litigation assistance for law firms and corporate IP departments.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive trademark clearance searches using Corsearch, CompuMark, TM TKO and prepare detailed risk analysis reports.
• Draft and file USPUSPTO Office Action responses, applications, renewals, and monitor deadlines.
• Assist with TTAB proceedings, including oppositions, cancellations, and prepare related filings.
• Manage multiple client trademark portfolios, communicate status and strategy, and maintain records in Alt Legal’s docketing platform.

Required profile

• 5+ years of trademark paralegal experience in a law firm or IP services environment.
• Proven ability to draft Office Action responses and conduct clearance searches with minimal attorney revision.
• Comfortable working remotely in a technology‑forward environment and handling multiple deadlines.

• USPTO procedures, TMEP guidelines, TTAB rules.
• Harvest and ClickUp time‑tracking/project‑management tools.
