Producer (Managing Director) - Facultative Property/Energy

About the role

Howden Re is the global reinsurance broker and risk, capital and strategic advisor. As it builds out its US facultative business, it is looking for individuals with an entrepreneurial mindset to join the team. The role is based in New York and focuses on placing US property facultative reinsurance risks.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new production opportunities and solutions for new and existing clients across North America
• Lead the placement of US property facultative reinsurance risks with domestic and international reinsurers
• Develop renewal and placement strategies that meet client objectives
• Support, mentor and develop junior broking colleagues
• Establish renewal strategy and execution plans
• Work with all Howden Re resources to deliver effective client service
• Ensure all activities comply with regulatory and internal governance requirements

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in a business-related position and environment
• Interest in pursuing an opportunity involving client-related tasks
• Detail-oriented and highly motivated, committed to continuous professional development
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

• Expected annual salary of $220,000-$300,000, depending on experience and work location
