Procurement Undergraduate Internship

About the role

Join Lilly’s Procurement team for a 10–12‑week undergraduate internship focused on a strategic sourcing project. You will work with senior leaders, apply AI tools, and present your findings at the end of the program.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a Category Strategy to create value for key business areas.
• Conduct spend diagnostics to uncover sourcing opportunities.
• Build market analysis models and external knowledge bases.
• Support negotiation and contracting activities.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics or related field, graduating August 2028.
• Demonstrated analytical thinking and interest in data‑driven decision making.
• Emerging leadership experience through academics or extracurriculars.
• Fluency in written and verbal English.

Required skills

• Experience with AI tools (generative AI, automation platforms).
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Python, SQL.
• Data analysis, visualization, and financial modeling.
