Procurement Manager

About the role

Retell AI is seeking a Procurement Manager to build and own the procurement function as the company scales. This high‑ownership role involves vendor selection, sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and ongoing vendor management across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Own procurement end‑to‑end, from sourcing through contracting and renewals.
• Lead vendor selection, evaluation, and negotiation for strategic software, infrastructure, and other spend.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and drive vendor consolidation.
• Build procurement processes, policies, and approval workflows from scratch.
• Partner with Finance and Legal on contracts, budgets, and vendor risk.
• Track company spend and improve visibility into vendor costs.
• Use automation and AI to make procurement faster and more efficient.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or purchasing.
• Strong vendor and contract negotiation experience with spend over $25M.
• Experience at a fast‑growing technology company or startup.
• Highly analytical, comfortable working with spend data and operating independently.
• Ability to build procurement processes from scratch and work across multiple functions.
