Senior Material Planner

About the role

Radiant is seeking a proactive Senior Material Planner to own material planning across the full lifecycle of its portable nuclear micro‑reactors. You will partner with Engineering, Mission Planning, and Production to translate reactor designs into actionable material plans and launch Materials Resource Planning within a new ERP system.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Engineering to create a company‑wide planning bill of materials based on reactor designs.
• Configure and launch Materials Resource Planning (MRP) in the new ERP system with the Mission Planning team.
• Maintain part attributes such as lead times, order quantities, and safety stock to keep plans accurate.
• Coordinate make/buy decisions with Production to reflect the current build sequence.
• Produce weekly “Clear to Build” and “Design Release Needs” reports identifying material shortages and procurement timelines.

Required profile

• 3–10 years of experience in material planning, supply chain management, or operations, preferably in manufacturing or technology.
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities to manage complex, evolving bills of materials.
• Excellent cross‑functional communication skills, working with Engineering, Mission Planning, and Production.
• Comfort operating with ambiguity and building processes from scratch.

Required skills

• ERP/MRP system experience.
