Night Shift Oilfield Dispatcher (Bakken Operations)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Night Shift Oilfield Dispatcher to coordinate driver assignments, communicate with customers, and ensure timely freight movements across the Bakken oilfield region.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and adjust routes, notifying drivers of any changes.
• Communicate load details, delivery/pickup times, and special handling requests with customers.
• Prioritize calls and coordinate driver schedules, units, trailers, and loads.
• Monitor transportation regulations and ensure driver compliance.
• Track unit locations and status to coordinate and prioritize schedules.
• Obtain accurate trucking, county, and state permits as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in trucking, logistics, or oilfield operations.
• Ability to multitask and make rapid decisions in a high‑pressure environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and related procedures.
• Excellent organizational, judgment, and critical‑thinking abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with basic computer software.
• Ability to quickly learn dispatching and tracking systems.
