About the role
Join Solugen’s innovative Bioforge team in Houston as a Process Technician Intern. You will support safe operation of the EOR, MOR, MVR, utilities, and blending units while gaining hands‑on experience in sustainable manufacturing.
Key responsibilities
- Operate control boards for start‑up, normal operation, shutdown, and emergency shutdown of EOR, MOR, MVR, utilities and blending unit.
- Conduct unit rounds, line‑ups, product loading, raw material unloading, and troubleshooting alongside senior Process Technicians.
Required profile
- High school diploma required; actively pursuing a degree or certification in Process Technology.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure in a startup environment.
Required skills
- Operation of HMI stations and control boards for multiple process units.
- Ability to follow process safety protocols and perform line‑ups and unit rounds.
