Process Technician (Injection Molding) – 2nd Shift

About the role

OPmobility is looking for a skilled Process Technician to support its injection‑molding production line on the 2nd shift. You will work hands‑on to set up molds, adjust machine parameters, and keep the line running smoothly in a fast‑paced, safety‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and adjust injection‑molding machines to target process parameters.
• Troubleshoot machines, robots, and material‑feed systems (Engel, Krauss Maffei, Husky, Kuka, Piovan).
• Perform mold preparation and changeovers efficiently.
• Monitor production to prevent downtime and maintain quality standards.
• Remove scrap and manage material flow to machines on time.
• Follow all Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) requirements.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 4 years experience in injection‑molding process setup and troubleshooting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and stand/walk for the entire shift.
• Comfortable working in a non‑climate‑controlled environment with varying temperatures.

Required skills

• Operation of Engel, Krauss Maffei, and Husky injection‑molding machines.
• Knowledge of Kuka robots and Piovan material‑feed systems.
• Overhead crane operation and safe mold‑lifting techniques.
• Basic computer skills and mechanical aptitude.
