Machine Operator – 1st Shift (12‑hr)

About the role

The Machine Operator works the 1st shift on a 12‑hour schedule in a high‑volume manufacturing plant, operating blow‑mold, PET and injection molding equipment, grinders, trimmers and conveyor systems. The role ensures continuous production while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate blow‑mold, PET and injection molding machines, grinders, trimmer machines and conveyor systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, minor repairs and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Conduct bottle inspections, drop tests and quality checks throughout production.
• Document daily production reports, rejects, regrinds, line efficiencies and maintenance requests.
• Monitor and replenish packaging material supplies.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety policies.
• Escalate any bottle abnormalities, defects or quality issues immediately.
• Assist with labeling, packaging and movement of finished goods to designated areas.

Required profile

• Ability to work a 12‑hour first‑shift schedule (1 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Monday, 7 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. Tuesday‑Thursday).
• Commitment to safety, punctuality and teamwork.
