Process Quality Technician – Manufacturing

About the role

Under the guidance of the Process Quality Leader, the Process Quality Technician provides technical support to investigate non‑conformances, implement corrective actions, and ensure that manufacturing processes meet Ethicon’s QSR, GMP, and ISO standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct non‑conformance investigations, initiate NCRs, manage product control, and document corrective actions in the quality management system.
• Create, revise, and periodically review SOPs for assigned areas.
• Lead small Kaizen activities and apply root‑cause analysis tools (5M, 5 Whys, Fishbone) to address quality events.
• Analyze quality data and recommend improvements to processes, equipment, and systems.
• Execute document change control, including procedure updates and protocol development.
• Provide training and guidance to manufacturing teams.
• Support internal and external audits and inspections.
• Offer day‑to‑day leadership to technicians and manufacturing associates, serving as a backup facilitator when needed.
• Lead or support special projects with minimal supervision and ensure timely completion.
• Communicate business issues and improvement opportunities to management.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, regulatory, and company requirements.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Basic statistical and analytical problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
