PRN RN – Float Pool (Night Shift)

About the role

The PRN RN – Float Pool position at Euclid Hospital provides flexible, as‑needed nursing support across multiple units and departments during night shifts. This fast‑paced role requires adaptability, strong clinical skills, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to diverse patient populations in various units.
• Implement, monitor, and update patient care plans, documenting conditions and interventions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, and follow physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient discharge needs and ensure smooth transitions of care.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN nursing program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or American Red Cross.
• Two years of recent related nursing experience (external candidates) or appropriate internal experience with CNO review.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Registered Nurse licensure.
• Ability to work night shifts and meet a 48‑hour requirement within a six‑week period.
• Physical ability to lift patients and perform manual tasks as described.
