PRN Care Manager (CNA) - Part-Time

About the role

Monarch/Brandywine Senior Living is hiring a part-time PRN Caregiver (CNA) in Rehoboth Beach who reports to the Clinical Services Director. This is a non-exempt, hourly position with a salary range of $20.00 to $22.00 per hour. The caregiver assists residents in all aspects of their daily life as outlined in each resident's care plan, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization and activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide resident care such as bathing, dressing, toileting and feeding as outlined in the care plan
• Maintain the safety, comfort, dignity and confidentiality of all residents
• Escort residents to meals and activities
• Ensure assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed and groomed, safe and fed during shifts
• Document all services provided to assigned residents during the shift
• Report any change of condition in a resident immediately to the supervisor

Required profile

• Certified Nursing Assistant and/or DHS certification plus a high school diploma
• Knowledge and experience working with the elderly population, preferred
• Dementia experience preferred
• Able to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, balance, stoop, kneel and crouch, and to lift or carry up to 50 lbs with proper body mechanics
