Evening Care Manager (CNA) - Full Time

About the role

Monarch/Brandywine Senior Living is hiring a Caregiver (CNA) for its Rehoboth Beach facility, working evenings from 2:30pm to 10:30pm, full time. The position reports to the Clinical Services Director and is a non-exempt, hourly role paid $20.00-$22.00 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents in all aspects of their daily life according to each resident's care plan, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization and activities.
• Provide care such as bathing, dressing, toileting and feeding as outlined in the care plan.
• Maintain the safety, comfort, dignity and confidentiality of all residents.
• Escort residents to meals and activities.
• Ensure assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed and groomed, safe and fed during shifts.
• Document all services provided to assigned residents during the shift.
• Report any change of condition in a resident immediately to the supervisor.

Required profile

• Certified Nursing Assistant and/or DHS certification plus a high school diploma.
• Knowledge and experience working with the elderly population is preferred; dementia experience is preferred.
• Able to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, balance, stoop, kneel and crouch, and to lift or carry up to 50 lbs with proper body mechanics.
