Part-Time Caregiver (CNA) 2:30pm-10:30pm

About the role

Monarch/Brandywine Senior Living is hiring a part-time Caregiver (CNA) in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, working 2:30pm to 10:30pm. The position reports to the Clinical Services Director and is a non-exempt, hourly role paid $20.00-$22.00 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents with the daily tasks listed in their care plan, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization and activities.
• Provide care such as bathing, dressing, toileting and feeding as outlined in each resident's care plan.
• Maintain the safety, comfort, dignity and confidentiality of all residents.
• Escort residents to meals and activities.
• Make sure assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed and groomed, safe and fed during their shifts.
• Document all services provided to assigned residents during the shift.
• Report any change in a resident's condition immediately to the supervisor.

Required profile

• Certified Nursing Assistant and/or DHS certification plus a high school diploma.
• Experience working with the elderly population is preferred; dementia experience is preferred.
• Able to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, balance, stoop, kneel and crouch, and to lift or carry up to 50 lbs with proper body mechanics.
