Private Surfing Coach – Flexible Schedule

About the role

TeachMe.To is looking for passionate surf instructors to deliver private surfing lessons in Arroyo Grande. You will work on a flexible, self‑managed basis, setting your own rates and schedule while helping students improve their technique and confidence on the water.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customized one‑on‑one surfing coaching tailored to each student’s skill level and goals.
• Design lesson plans and training regimens that develop technique, understanding, and confidence.
• Maintain a positive, supportive learning environment that encourages progress and enjoyment.
• Apply innovative teaching methods and creative drills to ensure consistent improvement and student retention.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a surf coach, instructor, or similar teaching role.
• A genuine passion for surfing and a desire to inspire learners.
• Strong communication abilities to engage and motivate students of all levels.
