Principal Business Analyst – ESG (Investment Technology)

About the role
Invesco is seeking a senior Principal Business Analyst to join its ESG Central Technology team. You will partner with ESG business partners and technology teams to define and deliver complex data‑driven solutions that support the firm’s ESG strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Lead discovery and requirements definition for ESG data and technology initiatives.
- Collaborate with ESG stakeholders to map workflows, data needs and priorities.
- Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with engineers and data teams in an Agile delivery model.
- Apply independent judgment to solve complex, non‑routine problems.
Required profile
- 10‑12+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst.
- Proven track record delivering large‑scale, data‑driven technology projects.
- Experience in financial services or asset management.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery and close partnership with engineering teams.
- Strong domain knowledge in ESG, investments, risk, compliance or regulatory reporting is preferred.
