Preschool Teacher for 24‑month‑old class

About the role

Brella is seeking a caring Preschool Teacher to work with 24‑month‑old children at its Hollywood center. You will help shape a flexible, high‑quality early learning experience while collaborating with co‑teachers and families.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a safe, loving environment and model empathy through respectful guidance.
• Plan, implement and adapt Brella’s curriculum to meet age‑appropriate needs and emergent interests.
• Maintain classroom safety by following all procedures and guidelines.
• Communicate regularly with families during drop‑offs and pick‑ups, sharing updates on curriculum and child development.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old with a High School Diploma and 12 Early Childhood Education units, including 3 infant‑care units (California licensing requirement).
• Minimum 12 months experience in a licensed child‑care facility and ability to meet California Department of Social Services licensing standards.

Required skills

• Knowledge of age‑appropriate, stimulating materials and child‑handling techniques.
• Ability to lift children or classroom items up to 50 lb and move comfortably throughout the classroom.
