Infant Teacher – Hollywood

About the role

Brella is seeking an Infant/Toddler Teacher to provide a safe, loving environment for children aged 3 months to 6 years. You will work with co‑teachers to deliver a play‑based curriculum and communicate regularly with families.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a safe and nurturing classroom, following all licensing and safety procedures.
• Plan, implement, and adapt Brella’s curriculum to meet age‑specific and emergent interests.
• Document children’s progress and share updates with parents during drop‑offs and pick‑ups.
• Collaborate respectfully with coworkers to foster a positive center culture.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old with a High School Diploma and 12 Early Childhood Education units, including 3 infant‑care units.
• Minimum 12 months experience in a licensed child‑care facility and meet California Department of Social Services licensing requirements.

Required skills

• Ability to safely handle and support children, including lifting up to 50 lb.
• Physical stamina to move, squat, climb, and stand for extended periods.
