Preschool Lead Teacher

About the role

Lead Teachers at Adventure Kids Preschool create a consistent, engaging, and nurturing classroom experience for children ages 2–6. The role involves planning and delivering developmentally appropriate lessons, managing classroom routines, and building relationships with families.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement age‑appropriate lessons and activities.
• Prepare classroom materials, establish routines, and maintain an organized environment.
• Coordinate with the Assistant Teacher and communicate regularly with families about classroom learning.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and occasional special events.

Required profile

• Growing relationship with Jesus Christ and willingness to model Biblical priorities.
• Successful completion of a C3‑initiated background check.
• Dependable presence and flexible, collaborative attitude.
• Experience working with young children in an educational setting.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Lesson planning and curriculum development.
• Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices for young children.

What we offer

• Hourly wage ranging from $18.75 to $19.90.
