Pre‑K 4 Teacher – IB Curriculum

About the role

The Pre‑K 4 Teacher will design and deliver inquiry‑based lessons aligned with the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework and state standards. Working closely with the IB coordinator and specialist teachers, you will help shape the school’s curriculum and support student achievement.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans that meet IB and state standards.
• Collaborate on units of inquiry and curriculum development with the IB coordinator.
• Support fellow teachers in implementing the established curriculum.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate with parents.
• Use digital platforms (Seesaw, Engage, Google Workspace) to enhance instruction.
• Assess student learning through formative and summative assessments.
• Monitor student behavior and safety across all school environments.
• Participate in meetings, professional development, and extracurricular activities.

Required profile

• Familiarity with IB regulations, guidelines, and learner profile.
• Commitment to the school’s vision, mission, and philosophical values.
• Ability to collaborate with instructional staff, parents, and administrators.
• Strong record‑keeping and reporting skills, especially regarding safeguarding concerns.
