Pre-Production Assistant – Jewelry Studio

About the role
Catbird is seeking a highly organized Pre‑Production Assistant to join its Brooklyn jewelry studio. Working Monday‑Friday on‑site, you will support the entire jewelry production process by preparing raw materials and ensuring a smooth flow to the artisans’ workstations.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and batch raw materials such as ring coils, cut chains, pull components, coil jump rings and handle wire.
- Collaborate with jewelers to address unexpected material needs.
- Maintain constant communication with production management and report on pre‑production status.
- Use the inventory management system to track raw materials accurately.
Required profile
- At least 2 years of professional work experience.
- Hands‑on attitude with enthusiasm for problem‑solving.
- Ability to multitask efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets.
