Practice Administrator

About the role

Prism Health, a program of CAP Northwest, is hiring a Practice Administrator for its Portland locations. Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer and working with the Medical Director and the Director of Behavioral Health, the Practice Administrator provides strategic and operational leadership for all clinical operations, including operational excellence, regulatory compliance, quality improvement, provider operations, patient access, workforce development, financial stewardship and organizational initiatives. The role is full-time, on-site Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, starting at $120,000 per year.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and evaluate clinical and operational policies, procedures and workflows that support high-quality, patient-centered care and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as a key member of the Prism Health and CAP leadership teams, providing operational leadership, strategic planning and cross-functional collaboration.
• Directly supervise two Front Office Supervisors, two Back Office Supervisors, the EHR Support Analysts, the Clinical Quality Specialist and the Billing & Coding Specialist, taking responsibility for all functions under their purview.
• Coordinate clinical activities for students, interns and residents with the Medical Director.
• Lead the development, implementation and evaluation of strategic operational goals and performance metrics for clinical operations, supporting clinic managers, supervisors and multidisciplinary teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education and experience.
• At least five years of experience in primary care operations management.
• Prior experience in budgeting, purchasing and payroll.
• Experience with revenue cycle management, payor contracts and diverse payment models.
• Experience with high-volume ambulatory care patient flow.
